A Typical Wine Tour with A Nose For Wine Tours

 

11:00: We meet you at your hotel, residence or business and after a warm introduction and explanation of the winery itinerary for the day which has been selected "with you and for you" we depart for the wine country.

We pick scenic routes along the rivers, out through the valleys and up into the vineyards as we share the stories behind Oregon's green paradise.

11:45: Arrive at the first winery where you will be greeted by the winery owner, wine maker or hospitality manager and escorted to an area that has been reserved for you. You will be treated to the various different varietals that Oregon is known for. You may taste from Pinot Noir to Chardonnay to Pinot Gris and even heavier reds such as Syrah and Cabernet from the southern part of the state .  

Excellent appetizers prepared by us to include exotic cheeses and fruits are featured at "each winery" visit and food paring discussions surely follow.

1:30:  You arrive a the next winery and again greeted by a welcoming owner/wine maker or hospitality director and then as you continue the wine tasting you enjoy still more of what has the wine writers around the world gushing with praise..great Oregon wine.  And because the wines do have different flavors depending on where the grapes are grown..you experience a whole new set of pleasures with each winery visit.

We select each winery to expand your enjoyment as the day unfolds...A Nose For Wine Tour is about creating great memories.

(We are not under contract or committed to going to the same wineries every tour!)

2:45:  The third winery now appears and you will be filled with anticipation of what distinctive nuances you will discover with this next vineyard and winery.

Throughout the tour you are invited to go "behind the scenes" and take a walk through the vineyards and the wineries and as you learn how the process of wine making is accomplished.

         At the third winery...we present always a big smile producer... Wonderful Chocolate!

Note:  Depending on the amount of guests and how relaxed each visit is, and when time permits.. a Mystery Winery (fourth) is often featured for the Cherry On The Top of your fine wine adventure.

The day flows along and with a comfortable and enlightening wine tasting experience and typically somewhere near 5:30 we return to where your days Oregon Wine Adventure began.
